Privacy Policy

1. Policy for protection of personal information

Tadano Infrastructure Solutions Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) shall acquire and use customer names, residential addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, and other information in order to smoothly conduct the operations of the Company. The Company recognizes that appropriate protection of this customer personal information (hereinafter referred to as “personal information”) is an important responsibility, and shall handle personal information based on the following policy in order to fulfill this responsibility.

1. Observe the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other relevant laws and regulations that apply to personal information, comply with practices related to the handling of personal information that are generally recognized as fair and correct, and handle personal information appropriately. Also strive to improve such handling as appropriate.
2. Make clear regulations related to the handling of personal information, and thoroughly communicate them to employees. Request that suppliers and other related companies also handle personal information appropriately.
3. When acquiring personal information, identify the purposes of use, and provide notice of or disclose them, and handle personal information in accordance with the purposes of use.
4. Enact the necessary measures and perform appropriate management in order to prevent personal information leakage, loss, unauthorized modification, or other issues.
5. The designated office shall accept requests from individual customers for disclosure, correction, deletion, or discontinuation of use regarding the personal information in the possession of the company, and shall respond in good faith.

Specifically, personal information shall be handled in accordance with the following contents.

2. Purposes of use

The Company shall handle provided personal information within the range of the following purposes.
The Company may contract a portion of its operations and provide personal information within the necessary range to the contractor for the purpose of smoothly carrying out the Company’s operations. In such case, the Company shall conclude an agreement related to the handling with these business partners, and shall carry out appropriate supervision.

1. Provision of sales, repair, inspection, and other services for the Company’s products, and acquisition of raw materials and other supplies
2. Conducting questionnaire surveys and creation of statistical and other materials for products, services, and sales planning based on the surveys
3. Provision of the requested products, services, and various materials
4. Responding to inquiries, sending of gifts and other items
5. Providing information about products, services, events, questionnaire surveys, and other matters of or related to the Company
6. In addition, the conduct of operations ancillary to any of the above operations, and operations for which the Company has obtained the consent of the individual

3. Disclosure and provision to third parties

The Company shall not disclose personal information to third parties, except for contractors as listed in “2. Purposes of use” and in the following cases.

1. When the consent of the individual customer has been obtained
2. When disclosing or providing information in statistical data or other form that does not permit identification of the individuals
3. When disclosure or provision is requested based on laws or regulations
4. When doing so is necessary in order to protect human life, health, or property, and obtaining the consent of the customer is difficult
5. When doing so is necessary in order to cooperate with public duties conducted by the national or local governments, or similar organizations, and obtaining the consent of the customer may interfere with the conduct of these duties

4. Disclosure

When there is a request for disclosure of the personal data possessed by the Company related to an individual customer, the Company shall verify that the requesting party is the individual concerned, and shall respond within a reasonable time and range.

5. Correction, deletion, etc.

When there is a request for correction, addition, or deletion of the personal data possessed by the Company related to an information of the individual customer, the Company shall verify that the requesting party is the individual concerned, and shall correct, add, or delete the information within a reasonable time and range.

6. Discontinue of use and erasure

When there is a request for discontinuation of use or erasure of the personal data possessed by an Company related to the individual customer, the Company shall verify that the requesting party is the individual concerned, and shall discontinue use or erase the information within a reasonable time and range.
We request understanding and cooperation because when all or a portion of this information was erased or its use discontinued, although such is not the intention of the Company, it may become impossible to provide services that are consistent with customer requests. (Furthermore, the Company may not accede to requests for discontinuation of use or erasure of information possessed by the Company based on relevant laws and regulations.)

7. Handling of personal information for customers residing in the EEA (European Economic Association)

The Company shall handle personal information of residents in the EEA region in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. See below for details.
